   25/1/2550 I love Wekipedia!! The English-version Wekipedia （维基百科）is so amazing,powerful, and the most of all, incredibly informative. It is a shame that I only started to use it weeks ago. You can find almost everything from Wikipedia and you can add or edit anything you think it is useful for anyone else.If you are an earnest learner, you'd better use Wekipedia to find any you don't really know, English slangs,legends,arts, Biography, Geography, society, lots of, lots of information in here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page. I learned so much from it.
Last night, I watched a little bit of Pulp Fiction, which is probably the most successful and breaking-through film in the 90's. I remembered how much S. G loved it and how hard he recommended it to me. Quentin Tarantino is a genius. John Travolta and Uma Thurman gave a hell of twisted dance in that movie. And Samuel Jackson is a hell of killer when he was citing the section of the Bible before shooting that guy. That was so cool....I was fantasized by how the Quarter-Pounder with Cheese is called Royale with Cheese in Paris because of the metric system. So I checked the word" Quarter-Pounder" in Wekipedia and I finally understand what is quarter-pounder and the whole menu of McDonald. I always prefer McDonald to KFC, no specific reason, just like McDonald more. Here are the menu items of McDonald I found in Wekipedia:

Tomorrow I will post some funny lines from Brian Kinney's stag party, it is hilarious. 22/1/2550 Little Children 上周末的计划是看完Heroes前11集，再观看两部电影《The Painted Veil》和好评如潮的《Little Children》，结果，昨天下午在健身房里上完Spinning Class后，还没有看完《Little Children》呢，我已经在Brad Adamson踢足球时Doze Off了。不过我必须承认这是一部不错的电影，导演和编剧从一个独特的角度剖析了一群住在郊外的中上层阶级的年轻夫妇的乏味、寂寞的生活，就像1999年Alan Ball的<American Beauty>一样，此种题材的电影比较贴近大多数美国人的真实生活，更能引起大多数的共鸣，<Little Children>在各大电影节成绩不俗也不足为奇。很多影评家都大夸特夸Kate Winslet，确实，她比在泰坦尼克里的表演出色、成熟了很多，但是吸引我去看这部电影的却是里面的男主角Patrick Wilson，在2003的<Angels in America>里面，他饰演一个努力掩饰自己是Homosexual而痛苦挣扎的小律师Joe Pitt，可能是因为《Angels in America》这部电影拍的太Awesome了，我觉得Patrick Wilson的演技也很是了得。这次他在《Little Children》饰演一个Stay-at-home Dad，而且考了几次Bar Exam都没有考出来，每天带着自己的儿子去Play Ground，swimming pool，是个不折不扣的Loser形象，他和Kate扮演的Desparate Housewife-Sarah Pierce开始了一场危险游戏。游戏的结果不难推测，所有的Fantasy和Excitement都会被残酷的现实所摧毁，一阵骚动之后，中上层阶级的young marrieds和他们的Neighbourhood又重归静谧、安逸、寂寞和绝望。
因为我买的DVD不是很清楚，我始终也没有看清Ronnie的妈妈留给他的纸条上到底写得什么，惹得Ronnie那么激动。

10/1/2550 Turn Right, Turn Left结束了上周阴雨寒冷的天气，这几天天气特别好，早上出门一抬头便看到太阳，周围的树木、草坪、车流和匆匆上班的人群都比平常可爱了许多。我座在公车靠窗的位置上，漫无目的的看着窗外，突然又想到了几米的《向左走，向右走》。前些天在正大广场看到了几米的专卖店，非常喜欢其中的一对马克杯，一个是总是向左走的她，一个是总是向右走的他。我真想把这对马克杯买下来，再把《向左走，向右走》翻译成唯美的英文，当作生日礼物送给别人。哇，我还真是狂浪漫耶！
那年的冬天特别寒冷， 但是冬天总是会过去，春天总是会来．．．． 9/1/2550 It's the love we've lost that haunts us.没有幸福的时候，渴望幸福；幸福到来的时候，却常常哭，时时哭，唯恐幸福稍纵即逝。 昨天晚上看了《心动》，浩君和小柔的爱情叫人心醉。两人青春年少时的爱情，纯洁而美好，若干年后两人在东京不期而遇，浩君对小柔悠悠的说“我结婚了。”没有想到的是，幻想过数千次的重逢，竟然是这样。当幸福那么近的时候却那么远，歇斯底里的拥抱、亲吻，毫不顾及地发泄着离别的绝望。当小柔趴在床上泪流满面的时候，我也泣不成声，唉，所有的幸福都那么触不可及，唯有眼泪和回忆是真实的。

 7/1/2550 Spinning Ok, everyone, I am just out of gym and come to my office to put my things down. Tell you what? I was totally worked out today. No time is like this time. I exercised too much.. thanks to Flora of course, who is always a crazy exerciser. We ran for 30 minutes first, then, we did lots of sit-ups and streched quite a long time of dumpbells. When I thought we were about done, Flora grabbed me into the spinning class. I never spinned before, in other words, I dare not spin. Every time I watch those spinners, I feel that they are extremely athletic and the music is astonishingly loud, and their movements are spectacularly amazing but I am not one of them. See, I was never good at sports, I am not now and never will. Since Flora is so interested in it, I think that maybe it is worth a shot on the new exercise. When I really hopped onto the bicyle, I knew this Spinning thing was really hard and cals-consuming. The coach was strict and the music was briliant and cool with heavy and rythemic beats, which made you automatically spinning with the music. I sweated so terribly and many times. I couldn't follow the coach of course but I did my best to spin,my legs, arms, face and neck were sweating all over. I couldn't feel my legs now and my arms were sour but it certainly felt so energetic and relaxed after exercises. And the most important thing is that spinning is so cool and makes you alive, and make you feel you are still 20. Guys, you should go to the gym and see it. Everybody is moving with the music like dancing, everyone is sweating like hell. I will go to spinning class next week too and I want to make it rigourous . 4/1/2550 If you are single, you choose FABULOUS or MISERABLE?Another Year comes, that is 2007, which means I am a little bit closer to OLD. Brian Kinney does not want to become old and he had a hard time on his 30th birthday. He is a cool guy; he is always saying that he would like to die on his 40th birthday. Well, for me, I also have that kind of thoughts. Who would like to turn into 40?? That’s absolutely insane. But, what about 30?? When you are 30, and you are still single, what would you like to hold up for yourself and how you gonna get on with your life without a boyfriend and a husband? So, that's why my question is SINGLE, FABULOUS or MISERABLE??? I definitely choose “Single, fabulous!!” No matter how hard or bad life is treating you, you cannot just sit there, complaining, helpless and hopeless, or drowning yourself to the endless void and emptiness by doing nothing all day, just sleep, eat, watch TV, surfing on the internet. A miserable single life is rotten, aimless and meaningless and there is no sign of living. In other word, you deliberately make your life miserable. I would rather make my single life shining and glittering with rhythm and beats. I always have a list of things to do; I always have my goals and dreams. I always maintain a good relationship with my girl friends and my boy friends; I frequently hit the gym to keep my figure and my growing weight; I always make my office and my home a comfortable place to stay; Most importantly, I am self-sufficient and independent, I always know what to do and how to take care of myself. To sum up, I am living a healthy and FABULOUS life. I make everyone who wants to say single life sucks to shut up. So, guys,what do you choose?? |
………….I also learned some cool and in phrases from the TV show, like “It's none of your f* business, so butt the f* out!!” I think this sentence is too cool to forget!
